This limited edition, Artoria, Limoges box, is Esmeralda, the gypsy, from Disney's animated film version of Victor Hugo's classic, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Dressed in a purple skirt with gold bells and gold jewelry, she is holding a tambourine, while dancing on an orange platform, with a turquoise border. Yellow, orange and green pennants, decorated with gold stars, fleur-de-lis and spades are on the side. This Limoges is artfully and colorfully hand-painted with intricate designs in great detail and has been fired numerous times to achieve its brilliant colors.
